HealthOp Africa is an independent platform where healthcare professionals across Africa find events, CPD programmes, training and jobs — and where healthcare organisations reach the professionals they need.
Our mission
Healthcare professionals in Africa lose opportunities simply because they never hear about them. Conference announcements circulate in closed groups, CPD workshops fill up through word of mouth, and vacancies are shared as screenshots that pass their closing date before reaching the right people. HealthOp Africa exists to put those opportunities in one searchable, public place.
We serve dentists, dental therapists and technologists, medical doctors, nurses and midwives, pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists, radiographers, dietitians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, public health professionals, health information managers and healthcare administrators — and the hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, associations, universities, NGOs, pharmaceutical companies and training providers that need them.

Editorial review
Every job and event submitted by an organisation is reviewed by our team before it is published. We state clearly on each listing what the organiser has told us and what we have confirmed.
How we make money
Posting a job or an event on HealthOp Africa is free. We earn from optional paid placements that give a listing extra visibility, a commission on paid event tickets sold through the platform, sponsorships, and advertising displayed alongside our content. Paid placements and sponsored content are always labelled as such, and paying for visibility never changes our review decisions.
Editorial independence & accuracy
Listings are supplied by the organisations that post them. We review submissions before publishing and remove anything misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent, but we are not the employer or the event organiser and we cannot guarantee every detail. We do not accredit CPD; where CPD points are shown, they are as stated by the organiser and should be confirmed with your regulatory council. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
